Allergies in dogs

Alergije kod pasa

...don't worry, you can reduce your muzzle's suffering

Medically known as atopic dermatitis, dry, itchy skin can be a big problem for a dog. If left untreated, it can lead to lesions, hair loss or bacterial infections. Atopic dermatitis can be caused by various factors, such as hypersensitivity to allergens.

Allergies are a hypersensitivity and harmful response of the immune system to external allergens, such as pollen, food or others. It is the same for humans and dogs. However, in dogs, signs and symptoms can go unnoticed because our noses can't tell us what's wrong. So, as a pack leader, we need to know what we need to watch out for.

CBD oil for dogs

Good news! Scientific studies and many users have found a number of positive applications CBD oils for dogs. This includes serious allergic reactions such as allergic dermatitis and allergic asthma - itchy skin and difficulty breathing due to allergens. A possible reason is the powerful anti-inflammatory effects of CBD. Multiple tests have confirmed its anti-inflammatory effect on the body, and the practical experience of owners and their pets regularly confirms this.

Omega 3 and Omega 6

Both Omega 3 and Omega 6 fatty acids are important components of cell membranes and are precursors to many other substances in the body, such as those involved in the regulation of blood pressure and inflammatory reactions.

Studies show promising results with the addition of Omega-3 in the diet of dogs suffering from allergies. Although giving Omega-3 alone is unlikely to relieve symptoms, there is fairly clear evidence that fatty acids provide benefits to the immune system. Many muzzles are actually deficient in Omega fatty acids due to the fact that they cannot produce them on their own.

It is important to achieve the right balance of each of them. Usually, the diet contains much more Omega 6 fats than is needed, and not enough Omega 3 fats.

The best sources of Omega-3 and Omega-6 are fish oil and olive oil.

Combine CBD oil for dogs with Omega-3 and Omega-6 fatty acids to relieve allergy symptoms!

Diet

Diet is also an important item. Generally accepted dehydrated industrial food is not necessarily the best choice for a dog's diet. Just the fact that this food has the least amount of protein, which is the basic food nutrient for dogs, means that you should think twice about the way you eat. Another interesting fact is that dehydrated food is mostly based on rice. In the context of rice, it's not rice for human consumption that you cook for yourself for lunch, it's waste that's not usable for humans, so it ends up in dog food. My personal recommendation is raw food or BARF – Biologically Appropriate Raw Food.

Always consult a veterinarian for a complete treatment plan, but at the same time educate yourself and inform yourself in order to choose what best suits your muzzle.
